Mt. Oyorogi

This mountain is popular due to its beechwood forest that is home to many plants.

At the top of Mt. Oyorogi (elevation 1,214 m), there is a primary forest of beech trees that are over 100 years old. Many climbers visit here to enjoy white umbrella-leaf flowers in May and the autumn foliage in the beechwood forest during late October and early November. The large beech tree at the top of the mountain is a must-see. The trail up the mountain has been carefully maintained to enable children and beginners to enjoy hiking.
