Many photographers and tourists visit this healing spot where red and pink poppies bloom between early and mid-June. Every year on the second Sunday during the season, a large “Poppy Festival” event is held where traditional Shinto music, Kagura dance, and band music are performed. This flower event is popular due to the variety of food stalls that offer tasty food containing local ingredients and that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
