Iinan Kaguradan
See backstage of how traditional culture is inherited.
There is a lively Kagura dance group, who perform a Shinto ritual ceremonial dance, that is attracting fans, particularly younger ones. You can attend their practice performance free of charge at 8:00-9:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays from February to November. (Reservations are required.) You will be impressed by the enthusiasm of the group – made up mainly of adults but also some small children – to inherit their traditional culture. The serious atmosphere of the performance has made some people want to become members. In this very popular culture experience program, you will have the opportunity to wear a Kagura costume costing several hundred thousand yen and have photos taken with the members.
You must have this wonderful opportunity!!
